Usually you want a white wine with chicken (the general rule is white meat - white wine, red meat - red wine) Try a Cabernet or Chardonnay

Wine doesn’t pair well with spicy food, I recommend picking up a really hoppy beer, Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine may be something you could appreciate.

Try a Reisling,or Chenin Blanc. They’re light ,sweet and fruity. Either in your chicken recipe, or in a glass. ;-)

With a spicy chicken dish, I would recommend either a real crisp and light white, like Pinot Grigio, or, a fruity light red like Pinot Noir.

A spicy chicken dish calls for either Riesling or Gewurtraminer. Riesling are typically sweet (which you would probably like). Gewurtaminer can be either sweet or citrusy.
